In a move that underscores a significant milestone for Ashok Leyland, the company that is the Indian flagship of the Hinduja group, announced the inauguration of new medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) dealership units in Jharkhand. The two new Ashok Leyland outlets of Sahu and Sons Truckings are in Ranchi while the third one is in Serengdag. The addition of these advanced dealerships marks 30 M&HCV touchpoints in total, across the state. These are strategically located to enhance the customer experience. 

New Dealerships: What We Know So Far? 

Ashok Leyland asserts that the new 3S facility in Ranchi (sales, service and spares unit) is strategically located at the NH20 highway connecting Jamshedpur to Barhi. The facility spans 60,000 sq.ft and includes ten service bays to attend to every customer's needs. The new Ashok Leyland dealership will provide its services to the closeby districts of Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Chatra, Koderma, Ramgarh, Khunti, and Simdega. The facility is equipped with contemporary tools and equipment. This includes wheel alignment machines and pneumatic systems. The units will also feature four dedicated accident repair bays.

Meanwhile, the second outlet inaugurated in Ranchi is a dealership sales (1S) outlet which has the potential to include service bays in the future. However, as of now, the facility will only provide sales-related services at the unit. Moreover, the third outlet is a state-of-the-art sales and service facility located in Serengdag in the Chatra district. Spanning over 25,000 sq. ft, it features seven service bays and is strategically positioned near the Chatra Coal Mines and NTPC, Tandwa. This is expected to provide efficient access for vehicles moving to the eastern, and northern regions of the state.
