This heavy-duty engine is paired with a G76-5/4.49 mark 2 synchromesh gearbox comprising 5 forward and 1 reverse gear to improve transmission efficiency. 

Further, its single-plate dry-friction type clutch of 260 mm diameter enables smooth gear-shifting to enhance the lifespan of the clutch. The Yodha pickup model is fitted with rigid suspension and semi-elliptical leaf springs to absorb the shock during cargo transportation. Additionally, its crew cabin variant gets a hydraulic double-acting telescopic shock absorber at the rear to resist both spring compression and rebound.

The model with Yodha 1200 4x4, Yodha Crew Cabin 4x2, and Yodha Crew Cabin 4x4 variants has 2990 kg gross vehicle weight (GVW) while its Yodha 1700 variant has 3480 kg GVW and Yodha 1200 has 2950 kg GVW to ensure stability.
