Bajaj Auto Sees Robust Q3 FY25 Financial Results Powered By Exports Rebound And EV Expansion

Bajaj Auto has released its financial performance for the third quarter of the current financial year 2025, highlighting the highest-ever quarterly retail of commercial vehicles.

Bajaj Auto published its quarterly financial results for the third quarter of the current financial year. The company witnessed consistent and solid profit growth in tandem during this quarter. In terms of turnover, the brand experienced a 5% YoY growth from Rs 12,460 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs 13,142 crore in Q3 FY25.
At Rs 12,807 crores in revenue from operations, Bajaj Auto saw a 6% YoY revenue growth due to strong exports, a buoyant domestic Green Energy portfolio and another record on spares. The company underpinned the highest-ever festive retail sales volumes domestically, although billed volumes were recalibrated to normalise channel inventory that was built up between the previous quarter and this.

Bajaj Commercial Vehicle Financial Results In Q3 FY25
Delivering double-digit revenue growth for the fourth successive quarter, exports of Bajaj Auto products including commercial vehicles stayed on its recovery path. Its exports saw a broad-based recovery that led to the return of more than 5 lakh units after 9 quarters. The company’s commercial vehicle portfolio retains a bright spot with sustained growth, highlighting the highest-ever quarterly retail of commercial vehicles.
During the third quarter, electric 3-wheeler volumes surged 5 times year on year, with market share expanding to a new quarter high by increasing 3 times year on year. It is supported by an extended network from 600 to over 850 touchpoints, reinforcing our steady progress towards leadership in the segment.
Regarding the domestic sales of Bajaj commercial vehicles in Q3 FY25, the company noted a 3% decrease in sales volume with sales of 1,19,250 units compared to 1,22,828 units in Q3 FY24. It recorded a 33% YoY export growth after selling 50,601 units in Q3 FY25 compared to 37,976 units in Q3 FY24.

In the third quarter of the financial year 2025, Bajaj Auto observed 3% YoY growth in PAT (Profit After Tax) with Rs 2,109 crores profit. Considering the sales in the domestic market and exports of commercial vehicles in this period, the company registered a 6% YoY growth in sales volume by selling 1,69,851 units in Q3 FY25 compared to 1,60,804 units in Q3 FY24.
