Blue Energy Motors Received An Order Of 50 LNG Trucks From Container Corporation Of India For Sustainable Logistics

To reduce carbon emissions in India’s freight sector, Container Corporation of India has expanded its sustainable fleet by ordering 50 LNG trucks from Blue Energy Motors.

Blue Energy Motors, one of the sustainable commercial vehicle manufacturers in India, has secured an order for its 50 LNG trucks from Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), increasing their fleet size to more than 175 vehicles. This second tender reaffirms the OEM’s dedication to environmentally friendly transportation and expands its previous deployments.

Collaboration Between Blue Energy Motors And CONCOR

The new order comes after Blue Energy Motors successfully deployed more than 125 LNG trucks for CONCOR in the past. This collaboration demonstrates India's rising need for green modes of transportation. By the end of March 2025, the additional 50 trucks should be delivered, strengthening this cooperation. This collaboration intends to help India reach its net-zero emission targets by reducing carbon emissions in the freight sector.

Compared to conventional diesel trucks, its LNG-powered BE 5528 Plus 4x2 trucks are intended to cut carbon emissions by as much as 40%. This LNG technology provides a more eco-friendly alternative without sacrificing effectiveness or performance.
