Eicher Motors Reports 18% YoY Growth In Net Profit During Third Quarter Of Financial Year 2025

Eicher Motors, one of the pioneers in Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers, released its quarterly commercial vehicle sales figures for Q3 FY25, concluding on December 31, 2024. As operating sales jumped 19% to Rs 4,973 crore in the third quarter, Eicher Motors recorded an 18% YoY increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,171 crore. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) increased from Rs 1,090 crore to Rs 1,201 crore during the reporting period, a 10% YoY increase.

VE Commercial Vehicles Q3 Financial Results

Revenues for VE Commercial Vehicles climbed 6% yearly to Rs 5,801 crore, while the segment's EBITDA improved 16% to Rs 509 crore. The company's PAT (Profit After Taxes) increased by 44% to Rs 301 crore. In the third quarter, VECV sold 21,012 units, up from 20,706 units in the same period last year.

With quarterly sales volumes of 21,012 units in Q3, the segment surpassed the previous record of 20,706 units in the same three months of 2024, outperforming the industry. According to the company, despite the CV industry's continued slowness, the commercial vehicles division demonstrated strength and increased its market share.

Due to strong demand for its motorcycles worldwide, Royal Enfield (RE) has continued solidifying its position in the mid-size motorcycle market, recording its best-ever quarter. With 269,039 motorcycles sold throughout the quarter, RE achieved its highest-ever sales volume, up 17% from 229,214 motorcycles sold in the third quarter of FY24.
