New Safety Solutions For Mining Tippers: Explained
Eicher has partnered with Novus Hi-Tech to offer their customers advanced safety features while keeping driver safety first. In the new safety solution provided by Eicher’s mining tippers, safety features like DMS (Driver Monitoring System), PWS (Proximity Warning System), and ADS (Auto Dipper System) are offered.
While the radar-based Proximity Warning System sends out collision alerts, the Driver Monitoring System tracks driver awareness and identifies hazards using artificial intelligence. To enhance visibility in low light zones, the Auto Dipper System controls the intensity of the headlights.
Novus Hi-Tech has more than 100 patents and has installed 70,000 of its safety systems in 20 different vehicles. Based on an examination of 7 billion kilometres of driving data, the company claims that its technology has contributed to the prevention of 2,00,000 road accidents.
