The sub 1T payload truck competes against strong brands such as Tata Ace Gold and Mahindra Jeeto and has successfully carved a niche for itself. Available in petrol and CNG options with retail touchpoints of 335 across India, Super Carry is serving the needs of the last-mile cargo/logistics supply chain.

Super Carry, the popular mini-truck from the country's largest carmaker, after arriving in the highly competitive sub 1T payload segment in 2016, has reached 100,000 cumulative unit sales, a significant milestone for a truck in this category.

After BS6 emission norms, the company discontinued the diesel variant, and the Super Carry is now available in petrol and CNG powertrain with a powerful, 4-cylinder engine with the capability to serve the dynamic needs of today’s last-mile supply chain needs of micro-entrepreneurs, fleet-owners and different businesses.

Entry Into Trucks

Maruti Suzuki forayed into the commercial segment in 2016 with the introduction of Super Carry in India. Within a quick period, Super Carry became a popular vehicle in the SCV cargo carrier segment by taking on two strong brands already present in the segment namely- the leader Tata Ace Gold and Mahindra Jeeto.

However, what resonated with the truck buyers is Super Carry's reliability, efficiency, superior mileage, easy maintenance, comfort and enhanced storage capacity, which helps enhance their profitability.

Super Carry is the only 4-cylinder powered mini-truck in India which produces 54kWof power and 98Nm torque ensuring a smooth pickup. This mini-truck is packed with plenty of safety and convenience features like reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminder, a lockable glove box, a mobile charging socket, and a light steering wheel for better maneuverability. Super Carry is the only mini-truck in the country with a dual fuel S-CNG variant with a 5L Petrol tank.

Super Carry, offers a deck area that is 2183 mm long and 1488 mm wide, along with a payload capacity of up to 740 kg. The Super Carry offers a ground clearance of 175 mm, while suspension duties are performed by reliable MacPherson struts at the front and a rigid axle with leaf springs at the rear.
