Switch Mobility, a Hinduja Group company, will unveil the latest concept version of the electric IeV8 truck at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (Auto Expo 2025). Switch Mobility is popular for its electric IeV series light commercial vehicles which offer a range of approximately 130-140 km per single charge. Constructed on a fully electric architecture, the Switch IeV8 is expected to offer sufficient range to carry out intra-city cargo transport operations. The new concept Switch IeV8 truck is believed to be an intermediate light commercial truck falling under the 3.3-tonnage commercial vehicle category. The vehicle should come equipped with three-pod integrated headlights and a solid day cabin, with a container or high-side deck load body configuration. Additionally, the vehicle is expected to come with a walkthrough cabin featuring a Driver+2 seating configuration. 

Apart from these, the vehicle should come with a DC fast charging for improving turnaround times with lower recharging intervals. The vehicle is also expected to come with power steering, hill hold assist, regenerative braking system and telematics solutions offering real-time alerts, geofencing and battery health functionalities.
