Ashok Leyland 4125-8x2

January 04, 2022: The 4125 dual tyre lift axle is a sibling of the 4120 DTLA with the only difference being the engine. This innovative multi-axle haulage truck comes with a dual tyre lift axle truck especially useful for long-haul transportation needs. This 14-tyre truck is a 41T gross weight truck that would suit some special heavy, long haul applications. This haulage truck is available in multiple cabin options along with both cowl and chassis and cabin and chassis.

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Truck Engine & GearBox: This haulage truck is fitted with proven Ashok Leyland’s A-series engine with impressive figures of 225hp (147kW) of power at a peak torque of 720 Nm at 1100-1800 rpm. And a 6-speed synchromesh gearbox.

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Suspensions: For smoother transporting heavy cargo without many bumps and lesser shocks, the truck is equipped with suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf at the front with an option to choose the parabolic type. The rear suspension is a non-reactive suspension with an option of slipper ended suspensions. 

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Axles & Chassis Frame: The rear axle is a fully floating single-speed axle, and the front axle is forged I section with reverse Elliot type. Unitized wheel bearings are available as an option on both the axles and anti-roll bar at the front. The chassis frame is a ladder-type construction made of high strength steel material for durability and design customized for load/road/applications.

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Brakes & Clutch: The brakes are full air dual line brakes with ABS and auto exhaust brakes. And the clutch is 395 mm diameter in single dry plate, ceramic type with an air-assisted hydraulic booster.

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Cabin: The truck is offered in multiple cabin options like the G Cowl, M Cabin, U Cabin, N Cabin with an option to choose from AC on U/N Cabin and U Cabins. Also available is HVAC on the N-cabin.

Ashok Leyland 4125 8x2 DTLA Tyre & Fuel Tank: The tyre is offered in 292/92R22 – 16 PR. The fuel tank is made out of cross-linked polymer material with a capacity of 220/300/375L on the LH side.
