Ashok Leyland Ecomet 1215 HE Engine: Th Ecomet 1215 HE is fitted with Ashok Leyland's indigenously developed H series 4-cylinder BS6 engine which produces 150hp of power at 450 Nm of torque at 1250-2000 rpm to take on the daily grind of inter and intra-city trips.

Ashok Leyland Ecomet 1215 HE Suspension, Clutch and Axle: The Ecomet 1215HE gets Semi-elliptic multi-leaf suspension at the front and rear. The front axle is forged I section - reverse Elliot type & the rear is fully floating single speed. The clutch is 330 mm dia - single plate, dry type with a booster.
