OSM M1KA 1.0

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), a commercial-grade last-mile and long-lead application-oriented electric mobility solutions company, has finally launched the highly anticipated M1KA 1.0 electric truck, priced at Rs 6,99,000 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle is designed to meet the growing demands of the commercial vehicle sector contributing to India’s transition towards a greener and more sustainable future. Buyers can pre-book the M1KA 1.0 at Rs 49,999 and deliveries will commence from April 2025. 

Key Highlights Of OSPL M1KA 1.0 

The Omega M1KA 1.0 comes with best-in-class fast charging technology. It has a 10.24 kWh, 15 kWh and 21 kWh fast charging ability – delivering 90 km, 120 km and 170 km per single charge range, respectively. In terms of powertrain output, the OSM M1KA 1.0 with its water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor churns out a peak torque of 67 Nm for heavy-duty applications. Also, a swappable battery-based variant is in the works to be launched soon in the Indian commercial vehicle market. 

Apart from the high-performance powertrain, the Omega M1KA 1.0 offers an 850 kg payload capacity. The truck will also come with a 5-year or 1.5 Lakh Km warranty (whichever is earlier). Additionally, a smart finance scheme with an attractive rate of interest is made available for customers in India opting for the Omega M1KA 1.0 electric cargo vehicle. 

Furthermore, the vehicle is outfitted with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear for effective braking performance. In terms of dimensions, the Omega cargo truck comes with a wheelbase measuring 2500 mm, and a ground clearance of 175 mm. For tackling rough roads and steep inclines in load conditions, it also offers a gradeability of 20 percent.

The Omega M1KA 1.0 commercial-grade electric cargo carrier comes with ELR three-point seatbelts, comfortable driver and passenger seats with adjustable headrests and driver and passenger side sun visors. In addition to these, the vehicle comes equipped with an emergency power cut-off switch to enhance safety, a rotary gear shifter for effortless driveability, an infotainment system and a USB mobility charging socket, among others.
