SML Isuzu Samrat XT Plus Tipper

SML Isuzu, one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in India, has showcased its new Samrat XT Plus tipper at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Incorporated with a tipper body of 5 cubic metres volumetric capacity, it has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 11,100 kg.

This 11-tonne tipper is a new addition to the GS tipper series from SML Isuzu, built to ensure efficient construction and mining operations. It comes with advanced telematics SML Saarthi Pro, helping to find the real-time vehicle location, dashboard analytics, live tab, and alert tab.

What We Know So Far?

SML Isuzu at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 featured the SML Isuzu Samrat XT Plus Tipper which is engineered with 45 degree tipping angle. It is equipped with a powerful 85 kW diesel engine that produces 114 hp at 2600 rpm and 400 Nm at 1400-1600 rpm. To engage and disengage the engine from the wheels, it has a 310 mm clutch. 

Fitted with heavy-duty SMT40S6 synchromesh transmission, its gearbox includes 6 forward and 1 reverse gear to change the speed and torque of the vehicle. It has a 14-inch meritor rear axle for heavy-duty applications. This tipper boasts tilt and telescopic power steering for effortless manoeuvrability. 

The Samrat XT Plus Tipper has the following additional specifications: 

• It can move cargo material on inclines thanks to its 32 percent gradeability.
• The tyres on this electric vehicle are 8.25x16 -16PR in size.
• It is fitted with semi-elliptical laminated leaf suspension with shock absorbers at the front and semi-elliptical laminated leaf suspension at the rear to ensure smooth operation.
• This tipper sports dual circuit S cam full air brakes to ensure effective braking performance.
• With a 90-litre fuel tank capacity, this model ensures optimum fleet uptime.
• It offers a vehicle and differential warranty of up to 2 years and an engine and gearbox warranty of 4 years for an unlimited kilometre run.

Features On Offer

SML Isuzu emphasises all components are pre-treated for a longer time and high-quality polyurethane paint is used. There is a corrosion-resistant painted steel floor in this tipper. It follows a compact and rugged design to ensure easy operations. In optional features, this tipper offers an auto-tailgate system to allow for shutting and opening the tailgate electronically.

After seeing its first glimpse at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025, the SML Isuzu Samrat XT Plus Tipper model is expected to compete with the BharatBenz 1217C, Tata 1212 LPK, and Eicher Pro 2095XPT, among other tippers in the Indian commercial vehicle market
