November 30, 2020: The Pro 8028XC is Eicher’s premium 28,000 kg gross weight tipper for the mining sector. This tipper is an identical twin of Pro 8028XM with only difference is lower power 300hp engine. This giant tipper is capable of taking on the most demanding and tough operating needs in some of the most extreme environments. Eicher brings the global expertise of Volvo Trucks in these top-end tippers to offer the value for money solution to Indian customers. 

Eicher Pro 8028XC Technologies: To make it a higher performing tipper some of the key technologies that come as standard include Eicher Live, Fuel Coaching, Cruise Control, M Booster+. 

Eicher Pro 8028XC Engine & GearBox: This massive tipper is fitted with Eicher’s VEDX8 engine that produces a whopping 300hp of power at 1200Nm of torque at  1200-1600 rpm. For smooth driving experience and superior mileage, the engine is tuned to an Eaton 9 speed gearbox. 

Eicher Pro 8028XC Axles: To take the most heavy and strong mining cargo the front axle is heavy-duty forged I-beam reverse Elliot type axle with stabilizer bar. The rear axle is heavy duty single reduction tandem axle. 

Eicher Pro 8028XC Suspension & Brakes: The front suspension is parabolic and rear bogie tyre. The service brake is S-cam dual line with ABS, and the parking brake is pneumatically operated hand control valve.

Eicher Pro 8028XC Cabin & Tipper Body: The tipper gets a sleeper cabin with AC. The tipping body is available in three types comprising the 14 Cum rock, the 16 Cum box and 20 Cum box. 

Eicher Pro 8028XC Dimensions: The tipper comes in minimum ground clearance of 255. The turning circle diameter is 16.3m and gradeability is 68% in crawler gear.
