November 30, 2020: The Pro 8028XM is Eicher’s premium 28,000 kg gross weight tipper for some of the the mining sector. This giant tipper is capable of taking on the most demanding and tough operating needs in some of the most extreme environments. Eicher brings the global expertise of Volvo Trucks in these top-end tippers to offer value for money solution to Indian customers with most technologically advanced tippers.  

Eicher Pro 8028XM Technologies: To make it a higher performing tipper some of the key technologies that come as standard include Eicher Live, AC Sleeper Cabin, Fuel Coaching, Cruise Control, M Booster+ and DGMS. 

Eicher Pro 8028XM Engine & GearBox: This massive tipper gets the Eicher’s VEDX8 engine that produces a whopping 350hp of power at 1350Nm of torque at @ 1200-1600 rpm. For smooth driving experience and superior mileage, the engine is tuned to an Eaton 9 speed gearbox. 

Eicher Pro 8028XM Axles: To take the most heavy and strong mining cargo the front axle is heavy-duty forged I-beam reverse Elliot type axle with stabilizer bar. The rear axle is a heavy-duty axle with hub reduction and two-stage differential lock.

Eicher Pro 8028XM Suspension & Brakes: The frontsuspension is parabolic spring assembly and rear bogie tyre. The service brake is S-cam dual line with ABS, and the parking brake is pneumatically operated hand control valve.

Eicher Pro 8028XM Cabin & Tipper Body: The tipper gets a sleeper cabin with AC. The tipping body is available in two types the 16 Cum rock and 20 Cum box. 

Eicher Pro 8028XM Dimensions: The tipper comes in minimum ground clearance of 289 mm (11x20 MT) and 308mm (12x20 MT). The turning circle diameter is 16.3m (11x20 MT) 18.5m (12x20 MT). The gradeability is 85% in crawler gear.
